POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager of Web Administration and Digital Services role leads, implements and maintains many of the interactive / web projects for Positively Cleveland, including updates to positivelycleveland.com and clevelandmeetings.com, the administering the email marketing program, assisting with the interactive / social media marketing program as well as creating and providing regular reports. The Manager of Web Administration and Digital Marketing will also manage the migration of developed content from multiple sources to the positivelycleveland.com platform.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Manage all web operation components and content including, but not limited to: interdepartmental requests, Content Management System (CMS) updates, new member updates, online events calendar, program and convention micro-sites, web graphics, FTP transfers, promos, sweepstakes, etc.
  • Handle development, design, and distribution of all email communication and online event registration. CRM database management for leisure visitors and residents.
  • Manage and monitor all online content including working with staff and vendors to develop and update information on the websites.
  • Provide expertise and research to assist management in making decisions regarding digital marketing and management strategies.
  • Proactively identify web trends and solutions by staying up-to-date on emerging Internet and software development concepts and technologies (UX, HTML5, mobile development, social media, etc.) and understand their relative importance, pros, and cons as they pertain to a well-established web development environment.
  • Work with search marketing partner to implement suggested SEO improvements.
  • Partner with the marketing manager, agency, and web design firm to launch multimedia components, graphics and designs (i.e. audio and video) for the website.
  • Write content, presentation and behavior layer code as needed.
  • Other interactive and graphic design duties as assigned.

Experience and Education
Bachelor?s degree required. Acceptable majors include communications, marketing or MIS.? A minimum of 5 years of website marketing administration and/or management experience is required.

Technical Skills Required
Broad functional knowledge and proficiency with the following technologies:
  • HTML/DHTML
  • CSS
  • CMS
  • web-based WYSIWYG editor
  • HTML Editing tools, both software-based (Dreamweaver) and text-based.
  • Photoshop; Illustrator
  • FTP software
  • Email Service Provider, Exact Target
  • Google Analytics
  • Visio, Axure and/or wire framing software is a plus
  • Proficient technology application skills; Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access), MS Outlook and Internet Explorer

Language Skills
Possess the ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. The ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Must have strong interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment and be capable of communicating in a professional manner with a diverse range of individuals.

Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities simultaneously while meeting stringent deadlines. Proven problem analysis and resolution at both a strategic and functional level; exceptional analytical skills.
